Chronic pain and illness can turn life upside down. Suddenly, every area gets touched - relationships, work, free time, and the plans and dreams we hold for the future.
Living with ongoing pain and illness often activates many different parts within us, creating a deep inner turbulence. And yet, as difficult as it is, it can also hold the potential for growth and expansion. Not all gifts arrive in ways we would choose, and chronic pain and illness rarely feel like one. But if we begin to meet them as teachers, they can open a path toward deeper understanding, connection, and authenticity.
This group is an invitation to explore what your pain might be trying to show you, and to learn together through the shared wisdom that emerges in a supportive space.
We will work with an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, honoring all the parts of ourselves involved in and affected by the experience of pain and illness. Together, we will create a space where these parts can be seen, acknowledged, and met with compassion and curiosity.
IMPORTANT!
This is a closed group of up to eight participants, beginning once it is full. The initial commitment is three months (12 meetings). After that, if spaces open, new participants may join.
Before committing, there will be a short introductory call to learn more about you and to ensure that the group is the right fit.
We foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, celebrating diversity in all forms. All are welcome regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, age, cultural background, sexual orientation, abilities, language proficiency, education, socio-economic status, or body size.
